The Hours

All the intensive courses include the driving test, daily home pick up and drop off and the use of the tuition vehicle for the driving test. The number of hours you book includes the duration of the practical test and the journey home. The course is usually conducted over several days (depending on the number of hours booked) with the driving test at the end. You should schedule the hours directly with the course instructor.

The Structure

If you are a beginner, the course instructor will guide you through the whole syllabus developing your knowledge and skills with the ultimate goal of being independent in all aspects. You will not start at the beginning if you have had previous lessons, the instructor will assess accordingly. If you have previously had a driving test, then the course will be used as a refresher to go over the faults of the last test and any other problem areas.

The Driving Test

All our intensive courses include a driving test. If you have one already booked, please remember to click NO on the question, “Would you like a practical test”. This will reduce the deposit amount accordingly.

The Instructor

Bristol Intensives only work with fully qualified, government approved driving instructors (ADI). They will all be DBS (criminal record) checked.

Once You Have Passed the Practical Test

Bristol Intensives would love to hear about your amazing news and how the whole experience was. We may well ask you to offer your honest feedback on our Trust Pilot page. The course instructor will ask you for a photo of you with your pass certificate. We use this for our social media so others can see our shared success.

Payments

All our intensive driving course are payable either in full, or by deposit and a final balance payment. The deposit covers the course booking, test fees and some administration fees. The remaining balance is sent to the instructor as payment for the course.
